Shore power and water at one berth
A vessel connects through the pedestal rather than running a cord along the dock. The water tap sits at the same point, so the crew finds both connections together and the walkway stays clear.
The GRWE80/GRWE100 Series is a 304 stainless steel shore power and water pedestal, featuring separated water and electrical paths and 30 mA earth leakage protection.
The series is also supplied in a marine configuration for berths, where each unit provides shore power and a fresh water connection. This marine build is specified around three conditions that a standard RV pitch does not face: salt corrosion on the enclosure and fixings, structural stress from floating or fixed docks, and the need for service access while berths remain occupied—rather than waiting until the end of the season.
Safe Layout: Water path isolated below the electrical compartment.
A vessel connects through the pedestal rather than running a cord along the dock. The water tap sits at the same point, so the crew finds both connections together and the walkway stays clear.
The body is 304 stainless steel as standard. For berths with constant spray or prevailing onshore wind, 316 stainless steel is available, since its molybdenum content gives better resistance to chloride attack. Fixings matter as much as the body on a dock, where salt settles and stays damp.
Water and electricity share an enclosure but not a compartment. The water path runs below the electrical section, so a weeping fitting does not sit above live parts. On a combined marina unit this is a design decision worth checking rather than assuming.
The unit is arranged to be fixed to a dock structure and reached for service without dismantling the surrounding installation. On a working marina the constraint is rarely the electrical design. It is whether a technician can reach the terminations without closing the berth.

The main differences between these series and models are the overall height (800mm for the GRWE80 series vs. 1000mm for the GRWE100 series), enclosure width, socket quantities, and the addition of integrated LED lighting (available on the GRWE100 series). These options provide project managers with flexible sizing and component layout choices to match specific site requirements.
The GRWE80/GRWE100 Series can be customized to meet the requirements of different outdoor utility distribution projects. Customization options include:
